The Laugh Mobile is stocked with books, movies, stickers, red noses, rubber chickens, and everything needed to produce chuckles, smiles, giggles, and guffaws from patients and staff. In 2005, Ruth started an Expressive Arts program in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology for young cancer patients and their families to create art and express their thoughts and feelings about their experiences of illness. Some parents report that their children actually looked forward to coming for their treatments, and would stay after they were done to finish their projects!
